Japanese contemporary artist, Takashi Murakami and American singer-songwriter, Billie Eilish have developed a mutual artistic sensibility when Murakami had directed Eilish’s critically acclaimed “you should see me in a crown” video which has since garnered 70 million views.
Building upon their shared appreciation comes another exciting collaboration—this time teaming up with Uniqlo UT to create in the realm of affordable fashion. This collection consists of 2 headwear and 18 styles of oversized graphic shirts featuring Murakami’s emblematic flowers and Eilish’s signature logo and Barbatrick font often seen on her merchandise.
Expected to be highly sought after, Uniqlo has implemented a purchase limit of 2 pieces for each design. The collection is now ready to be shopped on Uniqlo’s webstore.
