Alexander McQueen Invites You To Create With Them In Quarantine

words by angelyn

Time during quarantine may feel stagnant and many are finding ways to keep themselves occupied. To make our time a little easier, British fashion label Alexander McQueen launched an online initiative inviting all kinds of creators to participate in weekly activities from the comfort of their own homes.

A new creative concept will be released every week including 3D creation, embroidery and more. This week, the brand is here to teach users how to draw silhouettes by pulling reference from its SS20 womenswear AW20 menswear collection. McQueen has also partnered with Central Saint Martins professor Howard Tangye for a live drawing of one of the men’s FW20 looks.

You can then take a photo of the sketch/ illustration and upload it to Instagram while tagging @AlexanderMcQueen and #McQueenCreators with the chance of McQueen republishing your work across multiple platforms. Follow @alexandermcqueen for more updates.
